Author Guidelines

PARASANGANTA: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat welcomes original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by other journals. Submissions must align with the journal’s focus on community service and empowerment and demonstrate clear academic contribution, practical relevance, analytical rigor, and ethical research practices.

Manuscripts may take the form of community service reports, community empowerment articles, best practices, case studies, or policy and program reviews. All submissions should be written in clear academic English and follow the journal’s formatting and citation requirements as specified in the journal template. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of references, proper citation of sources, and consistency in style and structure.

Submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission system. To support the double-blind peer-review process, authors are required to remove all identifying information from the main manuscript file. A separate title page containing author names, affiliations, and contact details should be submitted as supplementary material.

Authors whose work involves community-based activities are expected to adhere to ethical standards, including respect for local values, community participation, informed consent, and social responsibility. The journal encourages participatory, inclusive, and sustainable approaches in community engagement and discourages exploitative or non-reflective practices.

All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer feedback. Final publication decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief based on scholarly merit, practical impact, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
