Journal History

ULAYAT: Journal of Decolonisation, Indigenous Studies, and Customary Law was established in 2026 as an academic platform dedicated to advancing critical scholarship on decolonisation, Indigenous studies, and customary law. Since its founding, the journal has been committed to peer-reviewed publishing, open access principles, and ethical academic practices in support of inclusive and socially just knowledge production.
