INTRODUCTION
ASEANPOLIS accepts manuscripts in the form of research articles or literature-based studies that address issues related to society, public policy, governance, education, public health, and development in Southeast Asia. Before submission, authors must ensure the manuscript follows the journal format and that authorship information is complete and accurate.
Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The manuscript length should be 3,000–5,000 words, typed in 12, with 1.5 line spacing, on A4 paper size. The recommended length is 10–15 pages, including tables, figures, and references (if applicable). Research articles should generally follow the international structure known as IMRaD: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion.
METHODS
The Methods section must be written in sufficient detail to allow readers to understand the research process and assess the validity of the findings. Authors should describe the research design and the main stages of the study, including: (1) research object/unit of analysis, (2) data sources and sampling strategy, (3) data collection techniques/instruments, and (4) analytical methods. Where relevant, authors should cite authoritative references to justify methodological choices and to strengthen the study’s rigor.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
This section presents the study’s findings in a clear and organized manner. Results should be supported by appropriate evidence (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed), and may be strengthened by relevant secondary sources. The discussion should interpret the findings critically by linking them to the research questions, theoretical framework, and existing literature. Authors should emphasize the significance of the findings, including practical, societal, or policy implications for Southeast Asia.
Figure 1. Figure caption should be clear and informative (use Times New Roman 11).
Table 1. Table caption should be clear and informative (use Times New Roman 11).
CONCLUSION
The Conclusion should not repeat the discussion. It must provide a concise statement that answers the research question(s), highlights the main contribution(s), and summarizes the key findings. Where appropriate, authors should include recommendations, limitations, and directions for future research.
REFERENCES
ASEANPOLIS uses APA (American Psychological Association) style for citations and references. Manuscripts must cite at least 15 relevant primary sources. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference-management software such as Mendeley or Zotero to ensure accuracy and consistency.
